Carpet Cleaning
Truck Mounted Hot Water Extraction Carpet Cleaning
will refresh the texture of your synthetic or natural carpeting. In fact,
many warranties from carpet mills and fibre producers require hot water
extraction by a trained professional carpet cleaner every 12 to 24 months
for the continuance of their warranty. They recommend hot water extraction
only, because this method improves texture.
Hot Water & Soft Water Both reduce the amount of Cleaning
Agent that has to be used to clean soiled carpets by 50%. The key cleaning
solution with a truck mounted hot water extraction carpet cleaning is…
HOT WATER! Cleaning temperatures above 200 degrees F. can only be attained
with truck mounted equipment. Hotter cleaning solution temperatures will
allow the carpet to dry faster.
Simon's Stays Cleaner Longer
Truck mounted hot water extraction carpet cleaning has
been demonstrated and tested to remove up to 97% of all soiling and cleaning
solution residue following cleaning. Making it the lowest residue carpet
cleaning system out there. The reason is because the key cleaning solution
is hot water, nature’s way of cleaning.
Simon’s Steps to Clean and Dry Your Carpet
- Carpet Inspection for wear in traffic lanes, entrance
& exit areas, sun fading, spots or stains, type of carpet, age, last
time carpet was cleaned. This helps to determine what is required
to best clean your carpet.
- Check for dry soil on the carpet, if visible, pre-dry
vacuum.
- Pre-condition soiled areas to loosen up soil and spots.
- Rinse the carpet. Removing the soil and taking dry
passes to remove water, (the cleaning wand has a view window to determine
when all the water is removed). This is why the carpet will dry in
4-6 hours after cleaning.
- Groom the carpet to remove the wand marks and raise
the fibers. This will also assist in drying time.
- Make sure all the furniture that was moved has protection
under the legs to prevent rust on the carpet.
Pet Odor Removal
Our family pets bring us years of fun, affection, and fond
memories. It's hard to imagine life without them. But, no matter how well
trained they are, they leave us other little reminders that they are around.
Urine contamination is one of the most common problems we find in carpet
and upholstery. Unfortunately, these spots are also one of the most complex
problems we face in cleaning. There are three problems associated with
pet orders.
First, there is the most obvious problem – the odor. Urine contamination
leaves a very unpleasant odor, which is made even worse when mixed with
heat, humidity or moisture.
Second, is the urine, when allowed to remain in fabrics, is unsanitary.
It is a natural breeding ground for bacteria. So, the fabric itself must
be sanitized and the germs and bacteria counteracted.
Third, is the problem associated with urine contamination in carpets
is that the components of the urine itself can cause the carpet to become
discolored, either immediately or over time. The alkaline salts in the
urine attack the color dyes of the fabric itself and cause this discoloration.
Simon’s Steps to removing your pet odor problems.
- Inspect all carpet areas with test equipment to determine
exact locations of the urine odor.
- Treat areas with an enzyme, allow to process 48-72
hours, rinse out treated areas, while cleaning the entire area or
room that has been treated.
Jobs are on a quote basis, and include locating odor areas,
treatment and cleaning treated areas, therefore, please ask for a detailed

Tile & Grout Cleaning
Before the cleaning process begins, the following must take place:
- During the esimate, I inspect the existing condition of the floor tiles and grout for cracks and broken or missing pieces.
- I check the condition of the grout sealer.
- We then measure the cleaning area, and you will be provided a price for the cleaning.
- Most items should be removed from the floor prior to cleaning, except china cabinets or other large items too heavy to move.
The cleaning process is as follows:
- The first cleaning, I use an alkline cleaner to remove oils, soil and spots. Then I rinse with soft water and vacuum dry.
- The second cleaning, I use a light acid to remove embedded soils, mineral deposits, and hard water scale from the grout.
- Then we test the condition of the grout sealer. If reapplication is required, the cost is $0.50 per square foot (approximately half the price of the cleaning). Price includes labor and cost of sealer, or if customer prefers, they can do the reapply themselves.
- Lastly, the floor is ready to use in 30 minutes after the complication of cleaning.
